The annual Burning Man festival held each August in the Black Rock Desert 120 miles NE of Reno, NV has surely changed and maturated over the past 27 years since its humble beginnings at Baker Beach in 1986.  Though recent Facebook & Twitter threads indicate that many feel the event they once loved has lost the fervor and appeal that drew them year after year. Grumblings from Burners across the globe have gone as far as to say that Burning Man as it was once known is dead and is in its declining days. At BRC Trap & Skeet we believe that the best days of this unique gathering lie ahead; with its recent transition to a 501(c)3 entity the bohemian nature that the event was once known for can again be realized.

When the event first moved to the dry lake bed north of Gerlach it brought with it the beatnik nature of its Bay Area participants. Many of the events that made Burning Man special like its multitude of Sex Camps and love of firearms have become of thing of the past as the number of attendees reached a peek of 68,000 in 2013.  Without this debauchery the streets of Black Rock City have become tame - it is our mission to change that by bringing back events to attract those that started this festival - Bring your Guns with you in 2014!

"BRC Trap & Skeet is committed to bringing back the mayhem that was once the cornerstone of the Burning Man experience", says ScottoBobScotto, CEO of BRC Trap & Skeet. "We have a feeling that bringing back events like the Drive By Shooting Range will entice many Burners who have left the fold to come back and see the Burn in a new light", continues ScottoBobScotto.
